FACTS Payment Plan

Access to the FACTS Payment Plan is available here:

Fundraising
Families have the option of paying a $300 fundraising fee or taking part in fundraising activities (a minimum of $300). Activities are held throughout the year and include the Holiday Faire, Family Night Dinner and the Walk-a-thon. Any portion of the fundraising commitment that has not been completed by June 10 is billed to the account and must be paid by the close of the school year.

Service Hours
Each family is expected either to contribute a $300 service hour fee or to volunteer a minimum of 20 service hours at clearly defined activities at the school. These include, but are not limited to, assisting in the cafeteria or at recess, helping at the Halloween party or Holiday Faire, the Annual Family Night Dinner, the Spring Book Fair and other special projects as well as chaperoning field trips. Any portion of the 20-hour commitment that has not been completed by June 10 is billed at $15/hour.

Payment Plans
For students accepted into the Early Childhood Program and K2 through grade 8 a deposit of 10% of total tuition is due by March 31, 2010. We cannot guarantee any student’s placement after April 7. The 10% deposit is non-refundable after June 10.

Tuition payments thereafter may be made in the following ways:

  • Option One: Single payment due by Tuesday, August 31, 2010.
  • Option Two: Two payments due by Tuesday, August 31, 2010 and Wednesday January 5, 2011.
  • Option Three: Monthly payments may be made electronically through the FACTS Management Payment Plan. A monthly payment date of either the 5th or 20th may be chosen. The FACTS cycle begins in August and concludes in May.

This third option allows families to spread payments over the number of months (maximum ten) chosen. Your payment is automatically made by your bank via Electronic Funds Transfer. There is a $38 annual charge to use this program. If you choose this option a FACTS Agreement Form must be completed online by Wednesday, May 19, 2010.

Families of K2 through grade 8 students who intend to apply for financial aid through The Catholic Schools Foundation, Inc. must be enrolled in the FACTS Program.

St. Mary’s School relies on prompt tuition payments. Late payments will be assessed interest at the compounded rate of 1.5% per month, 18% annually as permitted by law.

Early Withdrawal Policy:
Families withdrawing from St. Mary’s School prior to the end of the school year are asked to provide the school office with a 30-day, written notice of withdrawal. In the absence of the 30-day notification, an administrative charge of one-month tuition will be applied. No refunds will be given for withdrawals after April 1. Registration deposits and workbook and activity fees are non-refundable.
